- Description
- My mother, F. R. Rossi, wrote these words in 1938: "A star fell, tearing Night's veil. It was then I discovered Night's weeping. Are they for us these tears? Is this then for mortals, this great compassion? How silent you are Night, Gathering us in. How silent and tender! How comforting!" This song is dedicated to her. Requiescat in pace.
